Alex Calechman

Bio

Alex is an accomplished financial analyst with over a decade of experience in employee benefits marketing, underwriting and management. Working within the benefits consulting environment at Procyon, he leads the development of financial models, claims analysis, and renewal projections to help clients make informed, data-driven decisions.

Before joining Procyon, Alex held similar roles at both the carrier and brokerage sides of the industry partnering with all group sizes and funding arrangements. He excels at translating complex data into strategic insight, carrier negotiations, and supporting client cost-control efforts.

Alex earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Connecticut State University. He lives in North Haven, CT with his wife, Sara, and their two children, Easton and Cade. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing basketball.
