Greg Matthews

Bio

Greg brings over 35 years of industry experience to his role, working closely with corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and other high-achieving individuals. He believes in the value of a comprehensive discovery process to fully understand each client’s unique goals and challenges. Greg also integrates a wide range of resources, including those from his time with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, to deliver strategic and personalized guidance.

Prior to joining Procyon, Greg held senior positions at several prominent financial institutions, including Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Merrill Lynch, Cantor Fitzgerald, Jefferies & Co., and Morgan Stanley. He holds the Alternative Investments Director designation, reflecting his deep expertise in incorporating alternative strategies into client portfolios.

Greg earned his B.A. in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, where he was a standout lacrosse player, participating in four consecutive NCAA Division I Championship games and winning national titles in 1984 and 1985.

Based in New York City, Greg is active in the community as a volunteer lacrosse coach and supports organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, tennis, and playing the drums.
