Bio

Jeff brings a wealth of experience in guiding the wealth of both individual and institutional clients through various market cycles, starting from 1999. As a co-founder of Procyon, he has played a key role in the firm’s establishment and success.
Before joining Procyon, Jeff worked at the FDG Group at UBS, where he held multiple positions, including Senior Portfolio Manager, Wealth Advisor, Institutional Consultant, and Senior Retirement Plan Consultant. Prior to that, he spent a decade at Merrill Lynch, serving as both an advisor and a resident director responsible for overseeing a team of advisors in an office.

In addition to his financial expertise, Jeff is also a decorated veteran, having earned his B.S. degree from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He furthered his education by obtaining an M.B.A. from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

Jeff’s commitment to the financial planning profession is evident through his board level involvement in various organizations.  He served on the Board of Directors of both the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB), and the CFP Board (CFPB) helping to guide the organizations as they grew the profession to over 230,000 CFPs worldwide. For many semesters , Jeff shared his knowledge and expertise as an adjunct Professor at Fairfield University, teaching undergraduates about financial matters.

Outside of work, Jeff resides in Tennessee with his wife. He has a passion for soccer and enjoys participating in all water sports.
