Bio

Kevin Leahy joined Procyon in 2026, bringing a strong foundation in education, finance, and regulatory compliance. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University, concentrating in Secondary Education with a double minor in History and Psychology. Kevin has passed the Series 6, 63, and 65 exams and is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), maintaining an active membership with the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, underscoring his commitment to advancing ethical and regulatory standards across the industry.

Kevin began his career on the consumer-facing side of financial services, where his background in education strengthened his ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and build meaningful relationships. He later transitioned into compliance, where he focuses on structuring programs that operate effectively within regulatory frameworks while elevating ethical best practices. With expertise in program implementation and continuous improvement, Kevin is passionate about raising the bar for industry-wide compliance standards; recognizing that stronger compliance ultimately benefits clients everywhere.

Based in Detroit, Michigan, Kevin is a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, drums, bass, and trumpet) and digital artist who creates kaleidoscopic and looped visual works. He enjoys no-trace camping, disc golf, and traveling with his girlfriend, Jesse; often accompanied by their yellow lab, Sunny (“The Sun Dog”).
