Matt is a seasoned financial professional who began his career in 2010. He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Connecticut State University in 2013 and further distinguished himself by earning the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2017. With over a decade of experience, Matt brings a deep well of knowledge and expertise to his work, making him well-equipped to help clients achieve their financial goals.

Before joining Procyon in 2025, Matt served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wooster Corthell, a registered investment advisory firm, which he led for three years. Throughout his career, Matt has maintained a steadfast commitment to acting as a fiduciary, always putting his clients’ best interests first. He focuses on building strong, lasting relationships and takes a personalized approach to financial planning. By gaining a clear understanding of each client’s unique needs and aspirations, he provides tailored advice designed to support their success.

Matt specializes in serving career executives within the defense and aerospace industries, along with professionals in accounting and nonprofit organizations. He recognizes the challenges and opportunities faced by his clients; from handling intricate compensation plans to securing their financial futures. His expertise enables him to deliver thoughtful strategies that reflect the specific demands of their professions, helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence in their financial journeys.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys hiking with his wife, Dana, and their Australian Shepherd, Mac. When not on the trails, they spend quality time together as a family with their young son, Cal, making memories and enjoying life’s simple moments.
