Scott Coleman

Bio

Scott Coleman is the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Advisor Recruitment at Procyon Advisors, where he leads advisor recruitment and growth initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, he works closely with advisory firms and practitioners to align their goals with Procyon’s long-term vision.

Scott holds a B.A. in International Studies, cum laude, from Towson University. With over 30 years in financial services, he has expertise in advisor recruitment, custody and institutional sales, and sales leadership. Before Procyon, Scott spent nearly 20 years at Charles Schwab Advisor Services, most recently as Managing Director of Business Development, leading teams that supported advisors transitioning to independence.

His career also includes senior roles at Market Counsel, Summit Financial, ProFund Advisors, Ferris Baker Watts, and Smith Barney – where he managed the National Sales Desk for Smith Barney Asset Management. Scott is known for building scalable sales teams, developing repeatable processes, and fostering trust-based advisor relationships. His approach emphasizes alignment, transparency, and long-term growth within firms that value independence and collaboration.

Outside work, Scott enjoys traveling with his wife Tracey and their triplets, and pursues interests in science, nature, music, kayaking, soccer, birdwatching, and community involvement. He is a passionate fan of the New York Islanders, Mets, Giants, and Manchester City.
